Claude.ai Connector (OAuth 2.1)

In Claude.ai (Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector) or Claude Desktop:
1. URL: https://…/mcp
2. Click Add — Claude registers itself with this server automatically
3. Sign in with your GoodBards account on the NBS consent page and allow access — done
This server is its own OAuth 2.1 authorization server (dynamic client registration, PKCE S256, RS256 tokens it signs itself); your password is checked by GoodBards and never stored here. Discovery: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Clients that cannot self-register can be created with POST /oauth/register.

MCP Client Config (API key)

For clients configured by file (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf…), use an NBS API key directly:

The API key is a GoodBards API key of an NBS tenant. X-API-Key: <key> is accepted as well.

GoodBards Platform Connector

To let the GoodBards chatbot agent use these tools on the hosted site:
  1. Create an API key for the NBS tenant (Settings → API keys).
  2. Register the server in the platform catalog: tool name faculty-cv, transport HTTP_STREAM, URL …/mcp, authentication API_KEY with that key.
  3. Add faculty-cv to the chatbot agent's tools and tell it to prefer search_faculty for “who works on…” questions and to state what the dataset cannot answer.
  4. Embed the chatbot widget on the NBS site.
